Culinary Corral

Saturday, April 6, 2019
Heart of the Ranch at Clearfork

General Admission: 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. | Tickets: $75

NEW! Our favorite brunches are the ones that last well into the afternoon. That’s why this year, we’re taking the excitement around Rise + Dine and making it even bigger. Instead of just one brunch-inspired event, we’ve created a four-hour celebration of the best of the fest.

The Culinary Corral will include a tasting tent, beer garden, corkyard, live music and a variety of add-on pop-ups and an artisan marketplace – see details and participants below. Wander, taste, sip, shop and just generally make yourself at home.

Phone Food Photography Fun Pop-Up
Learn five quick tips for taking great festival food photos with your phone! Led by food photographer Nancy Farrar (Farrar Food Photography), this pop-up is FREE with your paid event admission and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Instruction begins on the hour from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Oil Derrick within the Culinary Corral event.

Parm Porn Pop-Up
Team up with chefs to whip up luscious pasta inside a giant wheel of Parmesan. This interactive event features a made-to-order dish, wherein the sauce is flamed with Nonino Grappa Chardonnay and crafted with the finest Parmesan. Together with the chef, you learn the process and prepare your dish. This pop-up is FREE with your paid admission. Visit the Parm Porn Tent between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. for demonstrations.
Participating chefs include:
Michael Thomson (Michaels Cuisine) at 11 a.m.
Daniel Albarran (Loveria Caffe) at 12 p.m.
Donna Albanese and Gabriela Ruiz (Piola) at 1 p.m.
Donatella Trotti (Nonna Tata) at 2 p.m.

Piper-Heidsieck Saber Party Pop-Up
Learn how to saber a bottle of champagne! Then use your new skills on your very own bottle of Piper-Heidsieck. The cost is $20 and includes a sabering lesson and bottle. No start time, just show up! Pop-up offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Meet at the Sabering Tent.

Your ticket covers all of the food and beverages you can (responsibly) consume at the event. Just bring your appetite and enjoy!
